About Me:
Welcome to the first step on your journey to wellness! As a native New Yorker, I understand how fast paced life can be. It is truly a skill to slow down and take the time to be present in the moment. By working together on this skill, you will be empowered with a greater understanding of your self agency. We will also cultivate curiosity of how to navigate new challenges and to feel more competent in your ability and skills to do so.
Through my undergraduate degree in Sociology, I learned about how society functions as a group and how culture shapes our lives and relationships. My background in the education and criminal justice systems furthered my understanding of how important social institutions are to growth, learning and rehabilitation. With over five years of work experience in the education and social justice field, I bring strong values of empathy and compassion to my therapeutic approach.
