I have over 20 years of social work experience across diverse settings, including children’s advocacy, schools, foster care, psychiatry, juvenile detention, and mental health clinics. I maintain a private practice in Rochester, NY, specializing in acute, complex, and developmental trauma among adolescents and young adults, and serve as a Clinical Associate Professor of Social Work at the University at Buffalo.

Trained in evidence-based interventions like TF-CBT, EMDR, and PCIT, my research focuses on youth trauma, cyberbullying, and its impact on parent-child relationships. I have presented nationally and internationally on these topics and completed leadership programs through the Maternal and Child Health Bureau and the CSWE Program Director Academy.
